Is DARQ a collective movement?
Most recently, the fours letters DARQ is being used more commonly in tech arenas worldwide more frequently than other letters in Alphabets. DARQ or known as collectively Distributed Ledger, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Extender Reality (ER), and Quantum Computing. Why DARQ is a big of a deal? Well, many tech pandits have forward thinking vision for it. In fact, the influence of DARQ are much more visible in today than a year ago. Why these four tech topics are so important? Let’s look at them below.
What is DARQ as a collective?
Not the Borgs, captain! It is a collective technologies and knowledge of the following;
According to tech leaders like Accenture PLC, a consulting and digital technology operation Company’s published article, the practice of Analytics is old school. In an article it says, “DARQ, which roughly stands for distributed ledger technologies, artificial intelligence, extended reality and quantum computing, is Accenture’s answer to a world in which digital is the norm.” One good example we can certainly agree to that by looking at how effectively blockchain technology became FinTech’s most popular. Blockchain. By now, we all know about Blockchain. Not going to deep dive in it, but a blockchain, originally block chain, is a growing list of records, called blocks, that are linked using cryptography. Each block contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp, and transaction data. It is now a big part of DARQ technologies.
Tech Giant Microsoft is participating in DARQ movement with AI by services, infrastructure tools. With their AI School and Lad services, Microsoft is improving AI technology significantly. Certainly, they see values in it. Why? Because the global expansions toward a post-digital era, Leaders will need to set their focuses beyond their ongoing digital transformations to differentiate organizations’ digital capabilities therefore advancement. Forward thinking decision makers would require having these exceptional tools to stay ahead. Innovation will be the key to success and AI will help.
One common DARQ technology is ER (Extended Reality). Social Media king Facebook is heavily vested on this one and leaves no doubt about why in readers minds. ER is changing the modalities of learning, teaching, experiencing and with our researches. One may think that ER existed in the past and can site on Airforce’s virtual pilot training programs. As it is true, it is also a reality that the technology has evolved and applications of it are more broader available now. Working out from home to traveling places, ER makes it a reality at the comfort in your living room. ER application is helping training drivers to divers before getting their feet wet.
Another DARQ technology is being led by computer giants like IBM (International Business Machine). We all know what Quantum Computing is by now. There are two main approaches to physically implementing a quantum computer currently, analog and digital. It is expected that Quantum computing is to power breakthroughs across research disciplines. Spin qubits have potential for reduced thermal constraints, greater stability, and smaller physical size. What is ultimately means that in near future, our gadgets are going be under our fingernail. From medical science to space age technologies, QC is bringing revolutions by days with more to come.
What are we talking about?
Apparantly, DARQ is not just a movement we think, but we believe that the collective emerging technologies under DARQ will be the core technologies that all leaders need to consider adopting and investing in. Slowly but surely, DARQ is taking us back to the Future. Let’s learn and be a life long learner. Invest in learning.
