Right Attitude is seeking experienced, highly motivated Business Development Representative in Software Development who is looking for an exciting sales position. The Business Development Representative (SD) will sell our Software Development solution services using our portfolio by gaining thorough understanding of the client’s business and the industry in which they compete, the corresponding Software Development initiatives, identifying needs which the company can help resolve, developing compelling business value proposals for our application development solutions and ultimately winning deals. The ideal Business Development Representative (SD) will focus on developing new businesses inside the client’s professional application and software development divisions. The individual needs to be based in Greater Austin, TX and work from Right Attitude office location. [11940 Jollyville Road, Suite 225S, Austin, TX 78759]

As a Professional Training and IT Service Company, our Application Development Team are both native and cross-platform experienced to create apps in any platforms. Our Development team can consult with client’s team to study the app objectives to produce a software that complement their business needs and services. Projects small, medium to large, we can serve and produce application on time.

Position: Business Development Representative – Software Development (SD)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and generating new business leads and expanding your client base through active networking and relationship building with new clients in your assigned area.
  • Generating new business with existing active clients and strategic partners. In order to achieve in this role, you will need to be a successful with establishing strategic partnerships to leverage on their network and cold calling into the C Suite level of organizations. 
  • Lead as a BA and communicate project/product requirements to RA SD Engineers
  • Source and close new business to consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas
  • Prospect new business by cold-calling small, medium, and large sized businesses finding new logos/accounts
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Fulfill an end-to-end sales cycle (BANT), from cold call to close; includes scheduling and facilitating online product demonstrations and closing your own deals
  • Engage and communicate between RA SDLC PM, QA, SME team members
  • Make 60 to 80 calls per day using company phone
  • Document and maintain activities in Right Attitude CRM and grow number of accounts
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline in Right Attitude CRM
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Prepare sales plans for your area, including actions, to meet and exceed identified sales goals regularly
  • Identify new Software Development opportunities


  • BA/BS or equivalent in similar sales experience required
  • 5+ years’ successful track record in solution-based sales
  • Having STRONG knowledge of SDLC – required
  • Understands Agile and Waterfall methods – Preferred
  • Understands QA processes – Preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is Required
  • Must have a valid driver license and source to motor vehicle


  • 2-3 years of recent successful experience establishing new client leads and converting into new accounts that generate business revenue
  • Prior experience selling Software Development projects and products
  • Ability to call on and work directly with C level executives in mid to large size businesses to discuss Software Development opportunities and lead as BA
  • Experience selling B2B software solutions sales
  • Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Outlook is required
  • Consultative sales approach with a structured and proven sales methodology knowledge (Agile minded)
  • Previous experience working in the Software Development sales industry
  • Knowledge of software development sales processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion and professional skills with high integrity and aptitude for business development
  • Has proven track records of selling deal size north of 100K within last 2 years
